Do we need to create a user for Rapid Recovery on all our servers? What access permissions does this user require? What is the optional DS-Client Server and how is it connected to our network? Who installs the Rapid Recovery service? How is the first backup done, given that there will be a lot of data?
Set Up of Initial Backup Sets and Schedules
Who does this? Who is authorized to use the administration software console? Can users administer backups for their own machines? What frequency of backup can be set? What level of granularity is possible in setting up the backup, i.e. file level/individual database? Can one machine be prioritized over another? Can multiple users be backed up simultaneously? Can the software be set to stop backing up after a certain time has elapsed?
Data Processing and DS-Client Server/Application Host
Is the data held on the DS-Client Server or does it pass straight through it? Is the database on the DS-Client Server backed up? What happens if too much data is passed to the DS-Client Server. What is common file elimination? What happens if the server stops or crashes during backup or if the backup is interrupted for some other reason? Does the DS-Client Server hold a connection open to a server all the time? How many versions of my backed up files are held offsite? What platforms are supported? Transmission offsite
Is the connection secure? What happens if the Internet goes down? Does all of our data get transferred every day? At what point is the data deemed to be backed up and offsite?
Offsite Storage at ebackup Inc.

Can data be restored to a different machine on your network?
Disaster Recovery
Can we prioritize which data is restored in the event of a disaster? What happens if the rapid recovery DS-Client Server and/or the whole site is lost? Can we perform a test rebuild of the rapid recovery Client Server and data restore?
