Easy Administration

is easy to install:

Install the data backup and recovery software application, called the "Client", either on a Windows NT™ 2000 stand-alone computer or on a network node on your premises.
Install the graphical user interface, called the "User" on any machine from which you would like to remotely manage the Client via a dial-up, Internet, or TCP/IP connection. The Client connects to the off-site fault-tolerant ebackup System data vault via a dedicated direct LAN connection, or any TCP/IP connection.
Supply the Client with registration information including your Account number, Client number, ebackup System IP address, and your private AES encryption key.

Rapid Recovery Service is "agentless", eliminating the need to install software on every machine that you want to backup. The Client can backup all nodes that are visible on the LAN.

Rapid Recovery Service is easy to configure:

Specify DATA to be backed up: Windows NT™ 2000, NetWare™ 3.x, 4.x, 5.x, UNIX™, and VMS™.
Specify backup schedules.
Specify backup options.
Specify permissions

Rapid Recovery Service is flexible. Manage backups and recovery from:

A stand-alone PC, which contains the Client.
A remote PC, which contains only the User and remotely manages the Client.
The Client computer on the network.
A PC on the network, which contains only the User and remotely manages the Client.

Or ask ebackup Inc. or your Value Added Reseller to manage data backups and recovery for you. They'll install the DS-User on their premises; and you'll install the DS-Client on yours.
